Collection and Forwarding: Create a Direct Debit file and send it to Bacs via an approved channel. Processing: Bacs forwards the payment request to the payer’s bank. Transaction and Post-Submission: Funds are debited from the payer’s account and credited to the originator’s account; unpaid requests generate a report with reasons for non-payment.
